This course provides a brief overview of Pakistan’s textile industry and introduces silk painting techniques to students. Students will receive exposure to various traditional and modern tie and dye designs and techniques for creative designing. They will become familiar with all stages of the process; using chemicals and tools, folding and tying the cloth, and preparing and applying the dye.
