June 16, 2009 to July 01, 2009 – Workshop on Motivated Volunteer Empowerment Program (MOVE) held at iACT

In collaboration with Family Education Services Foundation (FESF), Institute for Advancing Careers and Talents conducted a fifteen-day workshop in which students were given training on the MOVE program. The program was supported by ILEAD – Inspiring Leadership, Empowerment and Development in Youth Collectivism, Sharing and Togetherness, a unique youth development project that aims to develop leadership skills in youth through sports.

The workshop included learning sessions about volunteer and community work coupled with field visits in order to provide students with viable options of volunteer work. FESF volunteers took part in these visits to facilitate the students.
